The most important value in my life is curiosity. For as long as I can remember, I've been carving my own path rather than following the one laid out for me.
After graduating from university, while my friends started office jobs, I kept going — working remotely for tech startups while traveling the world. I wanted to see more of it, understand what people across different countries were dreaming about, and stay close to where technology was heading.
Over time, people around me started to see me as someone who actually does what they want to do. Friends and acquaintances began coming to me for advice on their own dreams and ambitions.
Watching people with genuine drive and curiosity always energizes me — and I believe they're exactly who Japan needs more of going forward. Many of them just lack a place to act on those dreams, or don't know how. I saw a lot of talented people spending their days checking off tasks, never quite reaching what they really wanted.
That's what drove me to start Qeight — to create a place where more people can turn their ambitions into reality.
